hello

I work with neurodiversity, narcissistic abuse and grief and loss, which includes big life changes. I hold a masters level psychotherapist qualification, and I am a certified neurodiveristy and trauma affirmative practitioner. I am registered member of the BACP and I am based in Lytham St Annes and offer online therapy.

about me

I work integratively, at your pace and focussing on what feels most important to you. For me, therapy is about being seen and heard for who you truly are, without judgement.

My path here was shaped by both professional study and lived experience—I understand first hand the complexities of narcissistic abuse, neurodiversity (ADHD and dyslexia), and the quiet weight of chronic illness. These aren't just clinical terms to me; they are journeys I’ve navigated myself.

My approach is grounded in empathy and a deep respect for your unique story. My background is quite diverse: I’ve explored meaning through a degree in Theology and Philosophy, and honed the art of listening as a BBC journalist. I also spent 15 years in Switzerland before returning home to my Lancashire roots, which gave me a profound appreciation for what it means to ‘belong.’

You’ll notice my photography throughout this site. After completing an MA in photographic arts, where my work was on mental health, I exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and an image is in the Houses of Parliament's permanent collection.

I believe our childhood experiences affect how we navigate life today, even if we don't always see the link in the beginning. Uncovering these feelings can feel scary and chosing which therapist to work with takes a leaf of faith. I will offer you a warm, accepting space where you can work with your past, present, and future in safety, at your own pace.
